Motion
What does it mean? Something different to everyone who requests it…but in the end, the goal is to catch the attention of the audience. The digital world is saturated with vivid colorful ads. It could be a simple gif with slight movement, a tutorial or a full production of a DocuSeries. Motion is one way to stand out.
Awareness: Emotional connection
In order to stand out from the bold promotions and offers our customers are bombarded with everyday, our goal is to make an emotional connectional that moves beyond the transaction. This video is one of three in a series featuring existing Quill customers and the rewarding work they do.
These consisted of a 60 second video focused on the customer. We then produced 30 and 15 second videos where the customer describes how Quill has helped them achieve their goals. The entire series is housed on a landing page to complete the full story.
Viking: Humor to show benefit
This was a fun project, but more importantly a creative solution to communicating the benefit of the product. The Viking brand represents strength and durability. When our customers expressed frustration receiving their paper reams beat up and usable due to the shipping process, we needed a solution. The customer does not have time to return the product and depends on having it available and usable when expected. The Viking paper uses a durable plastic wrap that protects the paper from scuffs, dents and even water damage. This engaging video takes the paper through the paces of everyday delivery struggles and comes through in excellent condition!
These ads were simple gifs used to communicate a shift when Quill relaunched its brand in early 2023. With long time loyal customers, we needed to indicate change was coming, as well as gain excitement. These were used throughout the website, as well as social media.

Google PerformanceMax ad
We created a basic template using simple motion for our designers to feed varying content into. We developed our own unique template verse Google forcing our copy and images into an existing generic format. This was intended to be simple and easy to apply and update on a weekly basis.
